Question

I received $25, 000. 00 March 2019, when my mother passed from my daddy's estate. Do I add this to my income?

My father passed in 2018 and my mother passed 2019.  After her passing my siblings and I received $25, 000. 00 each.  Do I have to add that $25, 000. 00 to my income?

A cash inheritance is not income so it is not entered anywhere on an income tax return.
