The USDA Disbursement Statement states that any customer receiving less than $600.00 will not receive a 1099 tax form from FSA.

Just skip the 1099-G entry screen and enter it under Other Farm Income.

What if we closed the farm in 2020, but we got an additional FSA payment in 2021?  I was not planning on filing a schedule F this year as we have nothing to put on it...

@garnetann

You can report this income as Other Reportable Income.

In TurboTax, open your return and follow these steps:

  1. Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Wages and Income on top of the screen
  2. Scroll down to locate the Less Common Income section
  3. Click Show more and click Start next to Miscellaneous Income at the bottom
  4. On the next page, click Start next to Other Reportable Income.
