Question

I received a 1099-G document after filing my taxes. What can I do to make sure this gets accounted for on my 2024 taxes?

You will have to prepare an amended return to account for the additional revenue that you didn't add when you filed your tax return. You need to wait until your return is processed and you receive your refund, if you have one,  before you should submit the amended return. You will see an option for the amended return on your home page when you log into your program.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-change-correct-return-already-filed/L4VjJ9BA2_US_en_US?uid=m6smo8yg

You should wait to receive the tax refund before amending the tax return.
