I received a 1099-R from a previous employer that i received a distribution from and rolled it over in entirety to an IRA. How do i put that into Turbo Tax?
In TurboTax Online, enter your form 1099-R by following these steps:
Open your tax return
Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Wages & Income
Navigate to the list of income categories
Locate the section Retirement Plans and Social Security and click on the arrow on the right
Click Start next to IRAs, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R).
Enter your form 1099-R and follow the interview
When you arrive to the page Tell us if you moved the money through a rollover or conversion, click on the radio button I rolled over some or all of it to an IRA or other retirement account within the time limits (normally 60 days)

After you have entered the Form 1099-R there will be a screen asking you what you did with the money. Select the option that it was moved to another account.
To enter, edit or delete a form 1099-R -
Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business) Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business) Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown) Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security On IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click the start or update button
Or enter 1099-r in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1099-R
