I've got retirement income under Govt but it is still saying I owe Kansas income tax?

I do have it listed under the correct 1099R?

Are you saying that you have a pension from some sort of government entity?

Did you have Kansas as your home state before you started to enter the 1099-R? If so, did you see a screen that asked for the source of this 1099-R (like public or government)?

You may need to delete your 1099-R, make sure that TurboTax knows that you are living in Kansas, then re-enter the 1099-R, pay close attention to the screens after you enter the numbers for the 1099-R.
