I was robbed $1800 in a scam during 2022.Is there a tax break or any kind of tax benefit I can receive from this?

Scam was someone pretending to be a landlord. $1800 was supposed to be a security deposit paid via cashapp.
Everything has been reported to authorities, I just want to know if there's any tax benefits I can gain.

Sorry, under the new federal tax law that was passed in 2017, there is no tax break for theft losses for 2018 through 2025. A few states might allow a deduction on the state tax return.
