Question

I was unemployed most of 2023 and received a small amount of income in December. Do I still have to file my taxes?

I read that if I made under a certain amount in a year, I shouldn't have to file taxes. I've never been in this situation before so I wanted to check if that was true.

If your income is below the limits indicated in this TurboTax Help article, you aren't required to file a tax return.
