Question

I wasn't asked if Angela contributed to her simple IRA. Why not?

If Angela contributed to her SIMPLE IRA, it is reported directly on her W2 in Box 12 with Code "S".

If Angela participated in a SIMPLE IRA plan through her employer, the amount she contributed to the plan is already excluded from her Gross Income reported in Box 1 of her W2.
