Enter the Form 1099-R that you received.  After entering the 1099-R there will be a series of screens asking questions about the distribution.  One of the screens will ask what you did with the money, so you need to select that you rolled over to another IRA.

You should get a Form 1099-R from your IRA custodian which reports the rollover. To enter the information, follow these steps:

  1. Open or continue your return.
  2. Navigate to the 1099-R section:
    • TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to 1099-R.
    • TurboTax Desktop: Search for 1099-R and select the Jump to link.
  3. Continue through the screens to import or enter your 1099-R form.
  4. When asked Tell us if you moved the money through a rollover or conversion select I rolled over some or all of it to an IRA or other retirement account within the time limits (normally 60 days) and select Continue.
