If a black box on the left of the screen blocks out some information, how do I get rid of the box?

I tried using the display adjustment bar at the bottom, but it doesn't go far enough.

IF you are on a wide screen computer, just make the window larger (but the following phone instruction also works)

IF you are on a phone scroll to the top of the screen....just to the right of the TurboTax logo, but in the upper-right of the black area is a small "X". click on that and you get the hamburger stack back in the upper left....and the black box on the left disappears.
