If I am filing with the form CSA 1099R - how do I know what my RMD is?

I have retirement that I am sent every month - Turbotax is asking for RMD - do I enter the whole amount distributed for year as RMD? Trying to file on my own this year.

    Yes, you enter the whole amount distributed as the RMD.  

     

    If you receive periodic (monthly) payments from a civil service annuity, these payments are considered Required Minimum Distributions (RMD's).
