IF I'M NOT SELF EMPLOYED, DO I NEED TO ENTER MEDICARE PART B AND PART D PREMIUMS UNDER SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS?

according to the instructions, it seems as if those boxes apply to self-employed individuals

    If you receive Social Security benefits, your Medicare is deducted from your SS.   When you enter the SSA1099 for your Social Security, the amount paid for Medicare flows automatically to the medical expense section of the software, so do not enter it again.

    Yes you need to enter them.  They will automatically flow over to Schedule A for Itemized Deductions if you don’t take the Standard Deduction.   But if you have self employment income (which you don’t)  you shouldn’t enter them on the Social Security screen but under self employment health ins.
