Question

If I opt to report my 401k withdrawal as income over 3 years how do I report this on my taxes. Is it as simple as dividing info on my 1099R by 3?Sorry if a dumb question

Yes, you can do this. Just enter your 1099-R exactly as it appears.

At this point and time the Form 8915-E (Qualified 2020 Disaster Retirement

Plan Distributions and Repayments (Use for Coronavirus-Related Distributions)) is not finalized. We currently do not have an estimated date when the form is ready.
