If I withdraw more than the RMD from my conventional IRA through my investment advisor is the excess taxable if I contribute it to charity like the base RMD?

If you are at least 70 1/2 and make a QCD qualified contribution directly from your IRA, the distribution is not taxable, and you would have no charitable contribution. For 2024 the max QCD is $100,000. A QCD can count towards your RMD. I think it goes up to $105,000 for 2025.

If you are asking whether a qualified charitable distribution can be more than your RMD the answer is yes.
