If you are referring to your W-2 that you received from an employer, boxes 8 to 20 don't necessarily have to be filled out. Boxes 8-14 are often blank if your employer did not have specific information to enter into them. Boxes 15-17 are for state information. If it is blank you may live in a state that doesn't have an income tax. Boxes 18-20 are frequently blanc unless you live in a city, or have county taxes taken out So it's okay to post your earnings exactly as it appears on your W-2.
