India NPS for 3520 or 3520A Filing

I worked in the US in 2024 for more than 180 days making me US Tax resident status for filing my US Taxes and I have an NPS account that I contributed to through the year and before, after. NPS is a government of India backed pension scheme. I have not made any withdrawals from this account but I contributed to it as a monthly contribution. I came back to India and now a resident of India. Do I need to file 3520 / 3520A? I have no idea what these forms are but my company tax advisor asked me to check about this

Since you're not taking distributions from your foreign pension plan, you don't need to file a Form 3520.

However, you may need to include Form 8938 in your return, since a foreign pension is considered a financial asset.
