No, they are Not the same.

 

Click on Federal on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Wages & Income

Scroll down to Other Common Income

On Form 1099-K, click on the start button

No. They are completely different.

 

Form 1099-K tracks income you receive, usually through credit cards or processors like PayPal, Venmo, Square, Etsy, Uber, or Ebay, for selling goods or providing services.
