If you aren entering a 1099R for a pension, you just say it was all an RMD.

You would answer Yes, if you are receiving a Required Minimum Distribution from any type of employe sponsored retirement plan (including profit-sharing, 401(k), 403(b) and 457(b) plans). It doesn’t just apply to IRAs.

If you're at least 73, all of it should be a RMD. If you don't know if you are receiving a RMD from one of those plans, contact the plan administrator and ask them.

You can also review the TurboTax article What is an RMD? and Why don't I have an RMD listed on my 1099-R? for more information.
