Is my traditional IRA contribution deductible?

I'm not sure if the AGI limit applies to my situation.

I am married filing jointly. I left my job in Jan, and contributed to a Roth 401K. I am NOT going to be working for the rest of the year and will have 1099R income. Estimated total income (from job and 1099R) will be north of $250K, will a traditional IRA contribution be deductible?

Since you won't be covered by an employer plan for most of 2025, you may be able to deduct your traditional IRA contributions regardless of your income, as long as both you and your spouse are not covered by a retirement plan at work
