All pension distributions are reported on a Form 1099-R and reported the same way on your tax return. There are required minimum distributions for all retirement plans at a certain age and/or given a certain status of retirement, accept for Roth retirement accounts in most instances. So, your 403b plan will have required minimum distributions that you are typically informed of by the administrator of the plan.
