Is there another step when entering social security income to make it recognized in the final review?

I've entered my SSI where requested, and it shows next to last years amount.  Yet on final review, I'm told there's no income listed on the 1040, preventing me from e-filing. Is there a step I missed?

If the Social Security benefits are the Only income to be reported on the tax return, then there is no reason or need to file a tax return.
