Is this where i enter 1099-r info.? my only income is that and social security.

my only income was a transfer from my 401k and social security. how do i file?

    Yes, you can file your 1099-R and Social Security if you follow these guidelines.

    To Post a 1099-R Log into TurboTax

    1. Under Federal
    2. Select Wages & Income
    3. Scroll to and select IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)
    4. Now Edit or Add another 1099-R
    5. Enter your Broker or plan administrator information.
    6. Follow the interview.
    7. Where do I enter my 1099-R?

    To post an SSA-1099 

     

    Log into TurboTax

    1. Under Federal
    2. Select Wages & Income
    3. Scroll to Retirement Plans and Social Security
    4. and select Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099)
    5. On the screen Let's import your tax info
    6. Change how I enter my form
    7. On screen How would you like to upload your 1099-R?
    8. Type it myself
    9. Enter your Broker or plan administrator information.
    10. Follow the interview.
