Question

It says I have an excess contribution of 1.3k, but that is the total of what I actually contributed myself based on my W-2s. Is this disputable for my taxes?

I didn't contribute outside of through my employers. I called Optum customer service, and my numbers match theirs, and they don't know why this is considered excess. Is it my contributions PLUS my employers' contributions that put me over? I'm not understanding the amounts. I can't withdraw the 1.3k because my balance is less than that. What do I do?

Only enter it from the W2, nowhere else.  Not under Deductions.  Your pay check contributions are NOT a new IRA contribution outside of work.  Your work contributions are not to a IRA.  They might be to a 401k or SIMPLE IRA.  Delete it from Deductions.
