It won’t except my insurance premium deduction for public safety officers

As you go through the 1099-R screens, be careful to answer all the questions.

Once you have entered the data from the 1099-R, you will get a page that asks Was XXXXX Employed as a Public Safety Officer, answer yes. You will then get a screen that asks Did the Pension Administrator Pay for Health Insurance? answer yes to this one as well. You should then get a screen that says Enter Health Insurance Amount and has a box to enter the amount of health insurance.

If you are not getting the above, I would delete the 1099-R you entered and re-enter the data.
