I keep getting an error message that 14a can't be less than 2. There is no amount on my 1099r for either. I can't finish my taxes

    Clear your cache and cookies and try deleting that Form 1099-R and reentering it.  That may clear up the issue.

     

    After reentering them pay close attention to any followup questions or prompts.

     

    To delete a form in TurboTax,

    1. Log in, and choose Tax Tools, then Tools on the left side of your screen.
    2. In the Tools Center, choose Delete A Form.
    3. In Review Form List, find the 1099-R and choose Delete, if it's there. ...
    4. On the screen Delete Selected Form, select Delete.

     

    Here's where to enter your 1099-R in TurboTax:

    1. Open or continue your return.
    2. In the Federal section, select Wages & Income.
    3. Scroll to locate Retirement Plans and Social Security.
    4. Select Start or Revisit next to IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R).

    You can also find the 1099-R section using Search. Open your return, enter 1099-r in the search bar, and select the Jump to 1099-r link.
