MAGI is$151,550. Married filing jointly. Both over 70 1/2. Husband is self-employed with income in 2018 of $6,395. Can he/we contribute to a Roth IRA?

AS your MAGI on a joint return is less than $189,000 and your husband has earned income, he can contribute to a Roth IRA up to $6.500 (but limited to his earned income). He can contribute to a Roth IRA regardless of his age and there are no RMD requirements for a Roth IRA.
