Is there a way to see what Turbo Tax is using for our 'Taxable Income' for the 2024 tax year for our state of Maryland?  We should be getting a $12,500 subtraction from our taxable income (from the Federal), but I don't see anywhere that this is indicated or shown.  As far as I can tell, despite specifying on the Federal form that this 1099-R is from military retirement pay, and for the state of Maryland, it doesn't seem to be applying the subtraction to the Maryland state taxes it's calculating.

You can view your tax summary in TurboTax Online by following these steps:

  1. From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.)
  2. Select Tax Tools
  3. On the drop-down select Tools
  4. On the pop-up menu titled “Tools Center”, select View Tax Summary
  5. On the left sidebar, select Preview my 1040

If using TurboTax Desktop, you can review the forms in forms mode.  To view forms mode click forms in the top right corner.
