I am trying to figure out if I can open a separate Roth IRA in my name.  I don't work.  We file jointly.  Our income is 82K so far after doing TurboTax Wages and Income section.   Can we put aside an additional $5,000 into a Roth in my name?  We are at the limit for IRA contributions in my husband's name.
