Hello, we moved from CA to Wa state on 7/27/24. We'll get our RMD's in December. Should our financial advisor use our CA address for the distribution or should we change our address to the WA state address before distribution? Which state will get the tax money if any?
I will have TurboTax do our taxes this year for us as they will be more complicated with the sale of a home and move to another state.
