Question

My 1099g barely has any info on it all it has is how much I got paid and my tax withheld it doesn't even specify if it's federal or state withheld

Will I be getting another form or is that it? There aren't box numbers with info like there is on a regular w2 just the info I stated. Where do I put the tax withheld if it doesn't specify what kind it is?

    A 1099-G should have box numbers on it.  If you received incomplete data, with tax withheld and no detail, you should reach out to the issuer. ‌A typical 1099-G will have box numbers. Federal tax withheld is shown in Box 4 and state tax withheld is shown in Box 11.
