Question

My 5329 form has one long line for thejustification for waiver of additional tax. Do I need to shorten the response or use multiple lines.

The actual 5329 just became available Jan 24th. Still has one long line. Can't tell if the entire entry will be visible to the IRS or only the first few words.

    If you're using TurboTax Desktop, you can view your Form 5329 in FORMS mode.

     

    The Explanation Statement for Waiver of Additional Tax has plenty of room for your entire explanation for the IRS.
