Question

my federal taxable amount on line 2a was entered twice how do I edit this?

    Follow these steps to edit tax exempt interest:

    1. Return to the federal income section. 
    2. Scroll down to interest and dividends
    3. Locate the 1099-INT interest entries. 
    4. Select edit/ review/ revisit/update
    5. Make corrections as needed.

    You may also have income from  1099-OID. It is in the same area.
