Question

My filed return shows I inputted income from a 1099 form but I can't find the form and I don't remember who ti is from. Can Turbo Tax provide the Payer info?

I don't remember who the 1099 form was from. I'm sure the info was inputted into Turbo Tax and I am wondering if I can get the payer info so I can contact the payer to get a copy of the 1099.

You have a couple of options. 1. When you sign in to your TurboTax account select the print option and print all forms/worksheets. You will not get a copy of any of the forms you received, but you should find a list of the forms you entered including any 1099s with identifying information.

2. Request an online wage and income transcript from the IRS. It will show all the information on any income forms sent to them. It should include your 1099. Once you enter some identifying information you can access and download whatever you need.
