Question

My ny social security & pension were always subtracted due to being a nye firefighter.has that stopped?

For NY right?  (not federal taxes)

 

I don't know what NY does with SS income...

BUT

...for the firefighter pension, you need to edit the 1099-R...and on one of the pages that follows the main 1099-R form page, you have to select your exact pension source  (Page shown below)
