My Pandemic Unemployment 1099 looks really weird and says I received 11k when I only got 2k in 2020 from them? Is this an error or should I have gotten more money?

I received about 2k in pandemic unemployment from the state of arizona. When I checked my PUA account it said I had a new document titled 1099, but when I open the page it's not set up like a regular 1099 and says I received 11.8k from the state of arizona when I only received 1.8k. I have heard of some people getting 10k checks from the government unemployment but I had never looked into it. Was I supposed to get that money but never got it?

You will have to contact the state ASAP to report/correct this.

You may also submit a report if you:

Were issued an Arizona 1099-G for UI or PUA benefits, but you never applied for UI or PUA;
Received a 1099-G for your UI or PUA benefits, but the benefit amount listed is incorrect;
Were issued a 1099-G for an individual who does not live at the address where it was issued;

If you received a 1099-G document from another state, you must contact that state agency to report the issue. Use the Unemployment Benefits Finder to find the state’s contact information.
