Question

My son received a 1099 NEC form and i dont k ow how to answer the questions why he received this form.

In order for the tax return to be accurate, the questions regarding Form 1099-NEC need to be answered completely and accurately. For instance, if he was working as an independent contractor and received $400 or more, he may need to pay self-employment tax and may be able to deduct business expenses. Your son should be able to answer the questions.
