Question

My tax return has been submitted twice using my social security number. I have two turbo tax accounts. Is this why?

Your return will be rejected if a second attempt is made - the second attempt will not be considered filed or submitted.

If this is an e-file rejection the most common reason for it is use of the nonfiilers registration form to receive an economic impact payment ("stimulus check".)   A second TurboTax account, if it was used to transmit a return, could also be a reason.

Other reasons can include being listed as a dependent of another taxpayer or, occasionally, identity theft.

You will have to print your return and file by mail.
