My W-2 has box 10 empty, but TT filled my 1040 form line 1e with $5000, plus a form 2441 generated. I am single no child. How this happened and how do I fix it?

Box 10 of your W-2 shows the total amount of dependent care benefits that your employer paid to you or incurred on your behalf. Amounts over $5,000 are also included in box 1. You must complete Part III of Form 2441, Child and Dependent Care Expenses to figure

out the amount, if any, that you can exclude from your income.

Since importing the W-2 is not correcting the problem try manually entering the W-2 instead.  To delete the Form follow these steps:

In TurboTax Online or CD/Download:

1. Open or continue your return.
2. From the menu, select Search and type in W-2.
3. Select the Jump to link in the search results.
4. On the Your W-2 info so far screen, select Edit next to the W-2 you want to change.
5. Select the trash can Delete icon to delete the W-2
