To update your return after printing, but before mailing or e-filing your return, you can use the "add a state" feature.

1.    Sign In to TurboTax Online

2.     Click "My TurboTax" menu.

3.     Press "Visit My Tax Timeline"

4.     Under the "SOME THINGS YOU CAN DO" heading, choose "Add a state" (You're not really adding a state, this allows you to get back into your return).

To add Social Security Form SSA-1099 (before filing):

1. Sign In or Open TurboTax

2. Select "Take me to my return" (Online)

3. Select "My Account" on top right of the screen (Online)

4. Click on "Tools" (Online)

5. Go to "Topics Search" (Online) or "Search Topics" in the top center of the screen (Desktop)

6. Type "SSA-1099" and press "enter" (Online) or "ok" (Desktop) to add your a SSA-1099 for your spouse.

Look on From 1040.  The amounts you entered from your social security should show up on Line #6a and the taxable portion will be on Line #6b    @claram1942
