As long as you have not yet filed your return you can go back and add your social security income by following the steps below:

Sign into your Online account
• Select Federal Taxes then Wages and Income
• Under "Your Income" scroll down to  Retirement Plans and Social Security
• Then select Start/Edit next to Social Security

If you have already filed your tax return  you will need to wait and see if your return is either  Accepted or Rejected by the IRS. The IRS will not start accepting returns until January 23, 2017. If the return is Rejected you can go back in and enter the Social Security Income. If the return is Accepted you will need to wait until you receive your refund and then Amend.
