Correct...hundreds of 1099-R issuers are not tax data "partners" that can supply a 1099-R as a direct file import . That's quite common.

So you enter it manually :

Change how I enter my form

and

Type it in myself

When you enter your Form select "Change how I enter my form" and then "Type it myself".
