Roth IRA's are not deductible.   TSP's and 401(k)'s are not IRA's and so not get entered anywhere other than box 12 on your W-2.

So do you need to claim it on your taxes or not?

@clm33

If you are asking about actual "contributions" you made top them during 2024..then

In a way.....YES....you claim your contributions to 401k, or TSP......When you enter your W-2....they are reported in box 12 of your W-2...enter there and you are done.  They should be there in box 12 on the paper or PDF W-2 form you should have in front of you.

Only contributions to actual IRAs and ROTH IRAs are entered separately on the Deductions& Credit s page.

IRAs/ROTH IRAs are NOT, 401k-s nor 403b-s, nor TSP-s, nor 457 Retirment plans...that's why they are named differently.
