If you are trying to enter your Social Security Income you should not see a prompt for a W2. You will need to enter it in the retirement section by taking the following steps: Select Wages and Income Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security and select Show More Start next to Social Security. Enter your SSA-1099 that you received from Social SecurityIf you were trying to enter it as a W2, you will need to click the trash can in the W2 section next to the social security income you were trying to enter.
