Turbo Tax software is asking me questions about RMD distribution which don't apply to my pension from the state of MD.  What do I do?

    Say all of it is the RMD.  If you are 70 1/2 it will ask you if it is the RMD.  Say yes.  Anything your pension pays you is considered to be the  RMD.  Traditional pensions automatically fulfill the rules of an RMD.

     

    Actually there is no RMD required for 2020 for a anything.  So it doesn't matter how you answer.
