Process to amend 2020 taxes using 1040x NOT working

I am trying to amend my 2020 tax return without success after multiple attempts. My 2020 return was accepted last year and I didn't receive any notifications from the IRS about any problems with the return.

I have signed in using the same account as last year, and scrolled down to "Your taxes and documents." Under that I hit "2020" and then "amend 2020 taxes." When I click on "amend tax return" it starts "spinning" and takes me back to the sign in screen. I have done this many times without success. What am I doing wrong?

I would suggest you clear the cache on your browser, then try again.

I still can't make it work, and I have followed all the directions and tried the suggestions.

As @CarissaM said above @ellis6970 it is time to contact TurboTax customer support if you have tried all of the steps and it is not connecting. The only thing that I would suggest that you try if you have not is using a different web browser in order to log in to your TurboTax account.
