Post Office lost 1099 from one of the clients, and send it to me after I file taxes this year. As I didnt get that 1099 on time, I added income from that client under Other Income. As I understand it - my return will not change, as I reported what I got under 1099, but, the data between my return and 1099s that IRC got is not matching now? Is that a thing I need to somehow take care of? Thank you!

Ok ... news flash ... all you ever have to do is report all your income ...in fact in the future you can simply make one entry in the other income section of the Sch c if you wish ....  entering in the individual 1099-misc forms is ONLY for your use ... those are NOT sent to the IRS with your return ... so you have nothing to amend.
