Recovered money possibly from OLD IRA held by CA comptroller ...no 1099 How do I calculate tax? All I have is property ID#

    Enter it as miscellaneous income.

     

    Go to the very bottom of the wages and income section and then click on miscellaneous income.  At the bottom of the next screen click 'Other Reportable Income'.  You can type in a description and amount.
