retirement acct distribution- I get regular disbursements from my retirement account that I made myself and not calculated to insure my funds last a specific time period

TIAA did not set up my monthly disbursements so do I check no to scheduled payments?

    I believe you are referring to this screen in TurboTax:

     

     

    If so, since you are in control of the amount and frequency of payments,  you would answer "no" that you don't get regular payments from the account.
