Reviewing a Prior Year's Taxes

In checking on how the RMD issue (currently under discussion on another thread) was handled  in 2023, I tried to open my 2023 tax file.

The 2023 version (TTax Deluxe) required me to allow it to perform updates before proceeding.

Since I was not doing or re-doing 2023, but merely wanting to see how it worked then, I did not want to to the updates.

SO - not possible.  

As it turns out, the 2023 update was not for the RMD issue, so I WAS able to see how TTax handled it then.

But it could have been another issue that would be (too late) fixed now, thereby not letting me see how it was in fact handled for 2023.
