I turned 73 in 2024 but did not take a distribution in 2024. I will take in 2025 for both years.

Have not received a 1099R as i have not taken a RMD in 2024. How do I report on my 1040 in 2024.

    You have until April 1, 2025 to take your 2024 RMD. 

     

    As you didn't take it in 2024, you don't report anything about your RMD on your 2024 tax return.
